What Is Three Forks Media?
Three Forks Media is a local community media company based in Muskogee, Oklahoma, dedicated to covering the people, places, events, and stories that make the Green Country region special. We believe that every community deserves positive, accessible media that reflects who they are and what they care about.
Through local video production, event coverage, newsletters, community calendars, photo archives, and Roku TV content, Three Forks Media connects local businesses, nonprofits, event organizers, and community leaders with the people they serve.
Why Three Forks Media Exists
Local communities need local media. As traditional local news outlets shrink, many communities lose the coverage that keeps people informed, connected, and proud of where they live. Three Forks Media was created to fill that gap — to tell the stories that matter to the people of Muskogee and the surrounding Green Country area.
Our focus is on positive, community-centered content: local events, business spotlights, nonprofit features, parades, festivals, local history, and the everyday moments that bring people together.
Meet Kelvin Brown
Kelvin Brown is the owner and operator of Three Forks Media. A longtime Muskogee community member, Kelvin has spent years covering local events, documenting community moments, and building media projects that serve the people of Green Country.
With a passion for community storytelling and local media, Kelvin created Three Forks Media to bring together his projects — Green Country TV, Muskogee Community Calendar, Muskogee Community Buzz, and Green Country Online — under one roof. His goal is simple: help people see the good in their community and give local businesses and organizations a platform to reach the people around them.
The Vision
Three Forks Media’s vision is to be the go-to source for positive local community media in the Green Country region. We want every local business, nonprofit, and community organization to have access to affordable, effective media coverage that helps them connect with the people they serve. We believe that when local media thrives, communities thrive.
